युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा : हे वासुदेव ! वैशाख मास के कृष्णपक्ष में किस नाम की एकादशी होती है? कृपया उसकी महिमा बताइये।
भगवान श्रीकृष्ण बोले: राजन् ! वैशाख (गुजरात महाराष्ट्र के अनुसार चैत्र ) कृष्णपक्ष की एकादशी ‘वरुथिनी’ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है । यह इस लोक और परलोक में भी सौभाग्य प्रदान करनेवाली है । ‘वरुथिनी’ के व्रत से सदा सुख की प्राप्ति और पाप की हानि होती है । ‘वरुथिनी’ के व्रत से ही मान्धाता तथा धुन्धुमार आदि अन्य अनेक राजा स्वर्गलोक को प्राप्त हुए हैं । जो फल दस हजार वर्षों तक तपस्या करने के बाद मनुष्य को प्राप्त होता है,वही फल इस ‘वरुथिनी एकादशी’ का व्रत रखनेमात्र से प्राप्त हो जाता है ।
नृपश्रेष्ठ ! घोड़े के दान से हाथी का दान श्रेष्ठ है । भूमिदान उससे भी बड़ा है । भूमिदान से भी अधिक महत्त्व तिलदान का है । तिलदान से बढ़कर स्वर्णदान और स्वर्णदान से बढ़कर अन्नदान है, क्योंकि देवता, पितर तथा मनुष्यों को अन्न से ही तृप्ति होती है । विद्वान पुरुषों ने कन्यादान को भी इस दान के ही समान बताया है । कन्यादान के तुल्य ही गाय का दान है, यह साक्षात् भगवान का कथन है । इन सब दानों से भी बड़ा विद्यादान है । मनुष्य ‘वरुथिनी एकादशी’ का व्रत करके विद्यादान का भी फल प्राप्त कर लेता है । जो लोग पाप से मोहित होकर कन्या के धन से जीविका चलाते हैं, वे पुण्य का क्षय होने पर यातनामक नरक में जाते हैं । अत: सर्वथा प्रयत्न करके कन्या के धन से बचना चाहिए उसे अपने काम में नहीं लाना चाहिए । जो अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार अपनी कन्या को आभूषणों से विभूषित करके पवित्र भाव से कन्या का दान करता है, उसके पुण्य की संख्या बताने में चित्रगुप्त भी असमर्थ हैं । ‘वरुथिनी एकादशी’ करके भी मनुष्य उसीके समान फल प्राप्त करता है ।

रात को जागरण करके जो भगवान मधुसूदन का पूजन करते हैं, वे सब पापों से
मुक्त हो परम गति को प्राप्त होते हैं । अत: पापभीरु मनुष्यों को पूर्ण
प्रयत्न करके इस एकादशी का व्रत करना चाहिए । यमराज से डरनेवाला मनुष्य
अवश्य ‘वरुथिनी एकादशी’ का व्रत करे । राजन् ! इसके पढ़ने और सुनने से सहस्र
गौदान का फल मिलता है और मनुष्य सब पापों से मुक्त होकर विष्णुलोक में
प्रतिष्ठित होता है ।

Today I was very much shocked when we come across some of the unhidden
and unbelievable facts of India. We can assure you if you will read you will get
surprised after reading this.
The
total amount of wealth looted by Britishers from India is estimated to be above
300 lakh crore or

INR!!
Hindustan Lever(HUL)
is not an Indian company. It’s a subsidiary of Holland's Unilever!! So stop
consuming HUL (Hindustan Uniliver Limited) products.
Even
after 68 years of independence the constitution of Free India contains 35,734
Acts which were enacted in the British rule for exploitation of Indians!!
Hindi
is the 2nd most used language in the World after Chinese Mandarin. Yet in its

originally known as American Tobacco Company exploits ecological balance in
India by Demolishing 14,00,000 (14 lakh) trees every year for production of
paper mostly used in wrapping ciggarattes. Whereas if a poor cuts branches for
making meals he is penalised. (Under Section 76[3{1}] of 1976 Act.)
If
corruption is removed from politics then every year, more than Rs 10 lakh crore
will be spent in the development of the nation, crores of youth will get new
avenues of employment, there will be industrial progress and there will be
all-round development in the nation. The country will become strong, prosperous
and free from crime....
How
much you are shocked now? I can’t explain you about my expressions, after
